Nitsua (b.1966)
Born in 1966, Nitsua was influenced at a young age by famed artists such as George Petty, Gil Elvgren, Alberto Vargas and Patrick Nagel.
"I remember the first time that I saw a pinup in the pages of Playboy and was completely blown away. I didn't know until that point that there were artists creating sexy images of women. It opened my world to what "drawing" could be. Since that point I've always wanted to draw beautiful women. I was captivated by how these artists were able to capture the female form."
More recently, Nitsua has been inspired by artists like David Nestler, Armando Huerta and Olivia de Berardinis.
After many years toiling on his own as a teen, Nitsua finally enrolled in some art classes in college and began to refine his work. "I am basically self-taught and knew that the masters didn't become great artists over night. Since the beginning I knew that this was going to take a lifetime to perfect and I have been working to do so ever since."
Nitsua debuted his work via the web in 2008 and is still in the process of building a loyal following. "I still consider myself a bit of a novice and work hard on every piece to perfect the image and hope that my fans enjoy the results."
